Public funding for early stage startups (Platformy startowe)

If your startup is still at the early stage (even an idea), the Startup Platforms program might be the right fit for you.

The key criteria for obtaining funding under Platformy Startowe program are having innovative project (at least at the national level) and the organizational potential to implement the innovative idea.

The total amount of non-dilutable financing available to a given startup is PLN 2,6 million, split into two separate parts of the grant in the amount of PLN 600k followed by the grant of PLN 2 million.

The program requires that the startup secures 15% of own equity to co-finance the project.

In order to be eligible to receive grants, a given start-up needs to successfully go through the incubation process with one of 6 incubators. The goal of the incubation program is to bring the founder’s startup idea to the MVP stage with the support of the incubator.
